 The dethroned Queen of American Chess, Miss N. May Karff (at right) playing Miss Kate Henschel in the U. S. Women's Championship Tournament. As usual, the ladies had a large following of critics and well-wishers, among the audience. 

 

 

 


Miss Adele Raettig (right) playing Mrs. Gisela Gresser in the final round of the
Women's Championship. Mrs. Gresser won the game and clinched the title.
