I've tried to make chess blogs before. I think I have a few unfinished ones floating around somewhere. I've never been quite sure what to do with them. However, I think I'm finally getting a feel for what I want. The title indicates this is to be about chess culture and history. While this is true to some extent, I'm more inclined to use it to vent my own personal thoughts on chess. So, this may become a mismash of things without cohesion, but I can live with that at this stage of the game. If anyone actually reads this, I welcome, actually invite, any feedback, good or bad.
