| Notes: |
| Mouret played these games as operator of the Turk. Hunneman's book (1820) claims only that the games he published are a selection. However, it is likely that for the period in which he recorded games, he recorded all the games played by the strong players against the Turk. Thus, I am guessing that this is a complete result for the period of 1820 over which Hunneman was recording games. Game 36 in Hunneman's book has the player listed as 'Mr. T*****Y', but Walker identifies the player as Tolfrey. However, Levitt identifies the player in game 36 as 'Tocorey'. I have assumed Walker is correct here. |
