| This occurred sometime during the Turk's stay in London from the autumn of 1818 to the spring of 1819. I am guessing at 1819. Lewis was operating the Turk. The game given by Levitt (pp.174-175) is presumably not this game, as Levitt says it was not played while Lewis was operating the Turk. |
