Name: Berlin - Prague and Brno Team Tournament |
Place: Berlin |
Start date: 1923 |
End date: 1923 |
|
Notes: |
This was a team match in which each of the 8 Berlin players played a single game against each of the 8 Prague/Brno players. Di Felice has 'Walter, Max' playing for Berlin, but he was a Czech or Slavak player, so this seems unlikely. I am guessing that it was Hermann Walter, but it might also have been 'O. Walter'. Di Felice has 'Engel, Jindrich' and Gaige has 'Engel, H.', but these were the same player: Jindřich is the Czech equivalent of the German name Heinrich. |
