| Partial results available. This was a 7-player tournament, in which the order of pairings was determined by lot (all-play-all?), the 7 players being de Rivière, Clerc, Hirschkop, Tagliaferro, Taubenhaus, Weissmann and Sittenfeld. De Rivière won, with Hirschkop 2nd and Taubenhaus 3rd, but scores are not given. The only ratable result from this event given is the single play-off game for 2nd place, won by Hirschkop over Taubenhaus. Dates are not given precisely, but the format and participants are given in the May 15 issue of La Stratégie (cited by Cornil), and the result is given in the July 15 issue, so I will guess that it began in May and ended in June. |
