| Urcan gives +5-4=2 for Walbrodt. Feenstra Kuiper, Di Felice, Hilbert and Lahde, van Winsen, and Gillam (in the Quarterly for Chess History) all give +5-3=3 for Walbrodt. The discussion by Winter suggests that Hilbert had published the wrong game score for the first match game in Lasker and his Contemporaries, No. 5, but this was a win by Walbrodt, and the discrepancy in scores between Urcan and the others does not concern how many wins Walbrodt had. I will accept the commonly given score here. |
