| Feenstra Kuiper and Di Felice give the result as +5-1=4 for Taubenhaus. The New York Recorder of 27 Jan. 1895 gives the result as +4-1=4 for Taubenhaus in one place (saying that Taubenhaus was still in Havana), and +4-1=5 for Taubenhaus in another place (saying Taubenhaus was in New York). Edward Winter gives contradictory results from four contemporary sources, but clarifes the result by giving (with help from several contributors) all ten games, with dates (though the date of the last game is given as '12? January 1895'). The result was +4-1=5 for Taubenhaus. |
