| Notes: |
| Di Felice give +2-2 in Breslau, 1845. Diggle and Spinrad give +4-2 in 1845-1846. Renette and Zavatarelli give +3-2 in Dec. 1846. The Chess Player's Chronicle of Aug. 1845 says that von der Lasa visited Leipzig and played 'a few hurried games' with Anderssen, of which only 2 were preserved (both wins by von der Lasa). Perhaps this was an earlier visit, since Di Felice gives the location as Breslau and Diggle and Spinrad give time as 1845-1846. Diggle calles this series of games 'serious friendlies' and Spinrad accepts it as a match, so I am calling it a 'formal' match, rather than a series of 'casual' games. |
