| The report in the Illustrated London News of 12 June 1869 (p.603) says that it was a match of 3 games and that Parratt won two and the prize, which I take to mean that he won +2-0=0 (since there is no mention of Skipworth winning a game, and I suspect there would have been if he'd won one). |
