| The British Chess Magazine of Apr. 1888 (p.194) gives the score at +3-3=2 and the June issue (p.286) says that the match was 'discontinued after each player had won 3 games.' However, the Aug. 1891 issue (p.392) gives dates as Mar.-May 1888 (and the same score, +3-3=2). |
