| Alberti gives +7-2=3 for Harrwitz, but this is a confusion with the result of their 1853 match. Spinrad gives either +7-0=2 or +7-0=3 for Harrwitz. Feenstra Kuiper, Hooper and Whyld, Di Felice, Hilbert, La Grande Storia degli Scacchi and Giffen give +7-0=3. Sarah's Harrwitz page and the Chess Player's Chronicle (May 1859, p.131) give +7-0. The Chess Player (Jan. 1853, p.176), the Illustrated London News (11 Dec. 1852, p.515) and British Chess Review (Jan. 1853, p.8) give +7-0=3.
