| Dubois says in Rivista scacchistica italiana (1900) only that he that he fought two challenges against Nardoni at odds of a Rook, won one and lost the other. In Eco della Scienza, dell'Industria e del Commercio (1864) he says that they played two 10-game matches and won one each. Exact scores are not given, so I record it as a soft result of 1-1. This is dated explicitly to 1846 in Eco della Scienza, dell'Industria e del Commercio. |
