| The Deutsche Schachzeitung (edited by Hirschbach) has 'O. W.' and 'Gr. V.', who are pretty clearly Otto Wigand and Graf Vitzthum. The report is in the second issue of the Deutsche Schachzeitung in 1847, so I am guessing that this match took place early in 1847. |
