| I don't usually include single games, but here the report in the Schachzeitung says that it was played on the occasion of a chance encounter on a journey to Frankfurt (presumably from Berlin), so it seems likely that it was the only game played. Von der Lasa was in Berlin 17-19 May 1853, and was in Brussels at least by 12 Jun. 1853, so I will guess that this journey to Frankfurt took place in May, on his departure from Berlin. |
