| The Neue Berliner Schachzeitung of Jan. 1865 (p.22) gives this result among the games played by Neumann between 23 Dec. 1864 and 5 Jan. 1865, saying that Rocholl received a handicap, but not specifying the handicap. One game, dated Dec. 1864, is given in the Feb. 1865 issue (pp.49-50), in which Neumann gave knight odds, so I will guess that this handicap applied to all three games. |
