| This is a partial result after three games were played. The 1 Jun. 1893 issue of Tijdschrift van den Nederlandschen Schaakbond (p.88) says that the match was for the first to win 5 games, and that the first game was won by van Lennep. The 1 Jul. 1893 issue (p.108) says that the result was 3-0 for van Lennep a few weeks earlier. No further report is found in the Tijdschrift van den Nederlandschen Schaakbond. I will guess that it started in Jun. 1893 (though it might have started in May) and that it ended in Jun. 1893 (though it might have continued longer). |
