| The games appear to have been played for the most part at a rate of one game per week on Sundays. The second through seventh games were played on consecutive Sundays from 3 Nov. to 8 Dec. 1861. I will guess, therefore, that the first was played on 27 Oct. 1861. There were gaps, however, as the twelfth game was played on 2 Feb. 1862, and the thirteenth on 16 Feb. 1862. |
