| Mouret played these games as operator of the Turk. Sarah, Spinrad and Kingston talk about this result as if it was a complete score for Cochrane against the Turk. Hunneman's book (1820) claims only that the games he published are a selection. However, it is likely that for the period in which he recorded games, he recorded all the games played by the strong players against the Turk. Thus, I am guessing that this is a complete result for the period of 1820 over which Hunneman was recording games. |
