Notes:

Steve Mann gives date of birth as between 1828 and 1831, with Apr. 1829 as his best guess. I am assuming that the correspondence player named 'G. Farrow' appearing in the Illustrated London News of 27 Oct. 1866 (p.419) is George Wright Farrow. Land and Water (27 Jan. 1883) has 'S.W. Farrow', but the report of the same event in the British Chess Magazine (Feb. 1883, p.68) has 'G.W. Farrow'.
