| The Allgemeine Sport-Zeitung of 29 Jul. 1880 (p.62) has 'Göbler (Braunschweig)'. In the Deutsche Schachzeitung of 1880 he is 'Gäbler' of Braunschweig. In Brüderschaft of 1887, there is a problemist called 'Emil Gäbler in Neugersdorf'; I am guessing this is the same person. |
