Biographical data |
Name: Fazekas, Stefan |
Born: 28 May 1898 |
Died: 3 May 1967 |
|
Notes: |
Gaige, in Chess Tournament Crosstables has 'I. Fazekas' at Budapest 1926 and London 1927 but 'S. Fazekas' at Bratislava 1925. Di Felice has 'Fazekas, Stefan' at all three events. These refer to the same player: István is the Hungarian form of the name Stefan. In Chess Personalia, Gaige gives the form 'Fazekas, Stefan', so I use that here. |
