End date: May 1903

Notes:
The crosstable in the Wiener Schachzeitung has inconsistencies. It inticates for Martinolich losses by forfeit against Perlis, Neumann, Löwy, and Steininger, but wins by forfeit agains Martinolich only by Löwy, and Steininger. It also says that Martinolich withdrew after 6 rounds, however, which should mean that he lost five games by forfeit. I assume that he did indeed forfeit against the four mentioned. If he forfeited to someone else as well, we don't know who, so I cannot adjust for that. The crosstable also indicates a forfeit loss by Steininger over Löwy, though the win by Löwy is not similarly marked, and a forfeit win by Steininger over Hock, though the corresponding loss by Hock is not similarly marked. I will assume that both of these were actually forfeits. The crosstable given by Gaige and copied by Di Felice indicate only the forfeit of Steininger to Löwy. Since the report appears in the June-July 1903 issue of the Wiener Schachzeitung, I will assume that the event finished in May 1903, though this may not be quite right.
