Event table notes

Event data
Name: All-Russian Amateur Tournament
Place: Saint Petersburg
Start date: 15 Feb. 1909
End date: 12 Mar. 1909

Notes:
Gaige gives the result of the game Gregory-Izbinsky as a genuine win for Gregory; Di Felice and Skinner and Verhoeven indicate that it was a win be default. I have used the latter. Gaige gives hte start date as 22 Feb. 1909. Di Felice and Skinner and Verhoeven give 15 Feb. 1909. Skinner and Verhoeven give dates of Alekhine's individual games and the first round was clearly played on 15 Feb.
