Event table notes

Event data
Name: Manhattan Club Championship
Place: New York
Start date: 1 Dec. 1900
End date: Jan. 1901

Notes:
Halpern and Baird withdrew early and their scores were cancelled. Halpern played only 1 game, a loss to Marshall. Baird lost to both Hanham and Roething and may have played one more game before withdrawing. These games, which did not count for the official scores, I have included for rating purposes, but not the possible other game by Baird, of course. Delmar forfeited his games against Marshall, Hanham and Finn. The full crosstable was sent to me by Eduardo Bauzá Mercére. It also appears on the Marshall Career web page, but with results for Raubitschek and Schmidt swapped, and with Rudolph Raubitschek instead of Robert Raubitschek. Urcan says Finn scored 3 out of 7, which differs from the crosstable sent by Eduardo Bauzá Mercére, even accounting for the default win over Delmar.
