Only partial results available. There were 8 competitors, the other 3 being E.W. Libaire, O. Roething and G.H. Koehler. Four rounds were played, the top 4 scorers only going into the fourth round. I only have the results for a two of these games: Marshall-Delmar 1-0 in round 1 and Hanham-Zirn 1-0 in round 4. The final scores of these 4 were: Marshall and Baird 3/4, Hanham 2.5/4 and Zirn 2/4, but I don't know their opponents in the other games. Baird and Marshall played a single play-off game on 26 Feb. 1900 (not 22 Feb. as indicated by Hilbert), won by Marshall.
