The 19 Mar. 1859 issue gives the results of the semi-finals and final, as well as the play-off for 3rd prize between the two losers in the semi-finals, H. Peychaud, Sr. and D.V. Benjamin. The actual scores in each pairing are not given, only who beat who, so I assume 1-0 to be conservative. |
