| H.J. Thwaites, though in class II, was to give odds of the Move to players in his own class. I have not taken this into account, though the effect is small. W. Burton withdrew near the end, defaulting his game against F.R. Burton. Also, the game Brunskill - Macgeorge was never played. There was no play-off for 4th prize, though Adcock and F.R. Burton both officially scored 6/10. The committee awarded 4th to Adcock and 5th to F.R. Burton because the latter only won against W. Burton by default. |
