Event data |
Name: 2nd Romanian Championship |
Place: Bucharest |
Start date: 22 Aug. 1927 |
End date: 1 Sep. 1927 |
|
Notes: |
The Aug.-Sep. 1927 issue of Revista de Úah (p.120) calls this the 3rd Romanian Chess Congress. Barak Saltz tells me the first actually took place 13-14 Mar. 1926, but it is not clear whether a championship tournament took place there. So I will keep the usual numbering and call this the 2nd Romanian Championship. |
