In the Deutsche Schachzeitung of Aug. 1927 (p.233), he is referred to as 'Herrmann-Magdeburg'. In other places (such as the Deutsche Schachzeitung of Apr. 1932, p.99), 'F. Herrmann' is indicated as being from Magdeburg, so it is likely that the player at Magdeburg 1927 was F. Herrmann. |
