According to the 6 Feb. 1892 issue of the Evening News and Post (p.4), the first game, a win by Smith over Mocatta, was played on 3 Feb. 1892. Then Mocatta lost to Moriau, according to the British Chess Magazine of Mar. 1892 (p.106), and then Moriau and Smith played a draw before Moriau won the final game on 17 Feb. 1892. |
