| This information was sent to me by Alan McGowan. I have not seen the references he cites. McGowan says that this was called the 1919 Berlin Championship, but he believes it was played between Oct. and Dec. 1918. The other players were Aks, Demetriescu, Fitze, Heck, Hempel, Lichtenstein, Dr. Mittag, Romeikat, Schirm, Sterkenburg, and Wienskowitz. |
