End date: 25 Nov. 1928

Notes:
I have guessed that the 'Kleczyński' here was Jan Kleczyński, but it might have been Jerzy Kleczyński, if these are truly distinct players. Barak Saltz suggests that the 'Rozenblat' here was S. Rozenblat, a chess organizer and promoter in Łódź (sometimes spelt 'Rosenblat' or 'Rosenblatt'), but he has also found references to a minor player named 'J. Rozenblat', and I note also that was also an Ervin Rosenblatt and an older E. Rosenblatt, who played in Łódź in 1907-1908. Świat Szachowy of Nov.-Dec. 1928 (p.2) has 'Frydman' playing for Łódź as the opponent of 'Piltz'; Nowy Dziennik of 3 Dec. 1928 (p.10) has 'Friedmann' as the opponent of 'Pilz'. I have assumed that this was Achilles Frydman, but Michael Kühl suggests, on the basis of the latter report, that it could be Henryk Friedmann. The report on the event in Nowy Dziennik omits the game Kleczyński-Rozenblat, which is included in the Świat Szachowy report. The Wikipedia page for Paulin Frydman lists a 1928 match result of +1-0=1 with Jakub Kolski, which probably comes from this team match.
