Event table notes

Event data
Name: 7th Italian National Tournament
Place: Rome, Italy
Start date: 24 Apr. 1900
End date: 12 May 1900

Notes:
Crosstables given by Gaige, Di Felice and La Grande Storia degli Scacchi agree, but Di Felice gives a total score of 11.5 instead of 11 for Reggio, which is inconsistent with the table. Feenstra Kuiper gives total scores that don't match the other sources at all. Di Felice calls this the '7th Italian National'; La Grande Storia degli Scacchi calls it the 1st tournament of the USI; Feenstra Kuiper calls it the 1st Congress of the Unione Scacchistica Italiana; Gaige just calls it an 'Italian National Tournament. Rivista Scacchistica Italiana of Jun./Jul. 1900 (p.161) confirms that it was both the 7th National tournament and the 1st Tournament of the Unione Scacchistica Italiana.
