| Gaige and Di Felice gives the year of this event as 1900; Feenstra Kuiper gives the year as 1901; Goldman gives dates 9 Dec. 1900 to 4 Jan. 1901; the 10 Nov. 1900 issue of the Allgemeine Sport-Zeitung (p.1256) says that the Winter Tournament begins on 18 Nov. 1900, and the Weiner Schachzeitung of Feb. 1901 (p.26) says it finished on 7 Jan. 1901. Goldman also says that S.R. Wolf withdrew after the third round. |
