| The report in Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper of 29 May 1858 says that they played 50 games, Worrall 'coming out with slightly the advantage'. I record this as a 26-24 result for Worrall. It is not clear when these games were played, but I am guessing that they took place in 1856, like the games Worrall played with Staunton discussed immediately before. |
