| The Liverpool Mercury of 27 Apr. 1874 has 'Nemo' playing for the Liverpool Club against Manchester. The Field of 9 May 1874 has 'Nemo' in quotation marks, suggesting that it was a pseudonym. I am guessing that this was W. Nimmo. Edgar's book on the Liverpool Club lists 'W. Nimmo' as a member elected in 1872. |
