The New York Sun of 6 Nov. 1891 has 'W. Thomson' playing for Manhattan against New Jersey, whereas Steinitz, in the New York Tribune of 6 Nov. 1891 has 'H. Thompson'. If the former, is it W.R. Thomson, who played in Philadelphia from 1894? If the latter, is it Henry Thompson, who played in the minor tournament of the 5th American Chess Congress in 1880?
