I am guessing that the Louis Cohen who played in London in the late 1880s is the 'E. Louis Cohen' or 'Louis Cohen' who played for the Jewish Working Men's Institute Club in London in 1876 and 877 (see the Westminster Papers of 1 Aug. 1876 (p.70), and the Illustrated London News of 2 June 1877 (p.527), 9 June 1877 (p.551) and 29 Dec. 1877 (p.631)).
