The report in the New York Evening Telegram of 13 Jun. 1885 gives final, or almost final scores, as does the Brookly Chess Chronicle of 15 June 1885 (p.129), but most of the players had not played all of their games at that point, and it is not reported which games were unplayed. Also the copy at the Chess Archaelogy website is not very legible. I include the scoresof the four players who had played all their games at that point, as well as Johnston, who Davies says finised with 5 points. The other players in the event were E. Delmar, C.F. Angresius, G.A.T. Limbeck, R. Andres, Werner, C. Schubert and T.F. Hatfield. |
