It is not stated what odds the various classes gave to each other, but I am guessing that it was like the 1898 tournament, where first class give Knight odds to second, and Rook odds to third. Again, I have to guess that second class also gave Knight odds to third class. There were no play-off matches for second prize or fourth prize.
