| The three first-place players of Groups A, B, and C played off for 1st to 3rd prize, the three second-place players played off for 4th to 6th prizes, and the three third-place players played off for 7th to 9th prizes. The Tidschrift van den Nederlandschen Schaakbond of 1 Aug. 1900 (pp.178-179) gives the order of the three in each case without giving scores. I assume that the first in each triple beat the other two and that the 2nd beat the third. However, it could be in some cases that in the 3-way play-offs, the scores were 1.5, 1 and 0.5, so I may have overestimated the rating differences slightly. |
