| The game between van Dien and Gans was not played (or at least had not been played by the time of the report). D. Bleijkmans, van Lennep and van Foreest played a tie-breaker for first prize (recorded separately here). The Apr. 1895 issue of the Tijdschrift van den Nederlandschen Schaakbond (pp.179-182) has two games from this event, one dated 7 Nov. 1894 and the other dated 19 Dec. 1894, so I am guessing that the event finished in Dec. 1894. |
