| Only partial results available. This was presumably a knockout tournament, since Göring was knocked out when he lost to Minckwitz in the second round. Schurig beat Minckwitz in the third and final round, which suggests that there were 8 players originally. We are only told who beat whom here, so I guess at 1-0 results in each case. We are also given no dates, only the fact that it was a winter tournament, and that the tournament was not finished yet, since the 3rd and 4th prizes were not yet decided. I am guessing at an end date in Feb. 1873. |
