Notes: |
Only partial results available. This was a thematic tournament, all games being King's Bishops' Gambits. It was a double-round all-play-all, so I include it since each player in each pairing had to play both sides of the opening. Eight players were originally participating, the other four being R. Ahlberg, H. Höfer, M. Kempner-Hochstädt, and Wilhelm Kunze, and only the scores of the top four are given in the end. These four scores add to 28, so if all eight players finished, then the other four players would have totalled another 28 points, which does not make sense, so one must have dropped out. With seven players finishing, the remaining three for whom we do not have scores would have a total of 14 points between them, perhaps 5, 5, and 4, respectively. It is just possible that two players dropped out, but then the remaining two players would have a total of only 2 points between them. I assume one drop-out. We are given the top four results of the 2nd and 3rd class events as well, but with no idea how many players there were in each, or even whether they were single-round or double-round events, I cannot include them. |
