| Chess Tournament Crosstables has 'Dr. Fraser' for James Cunningham Fraser, but Thulin mistakenly lists him as 'Fraser, Dr. G.B.'. Harding gives year of birth as '1827?' and Gaige says he was 49 years old at his death on 6-08-1876, which would give a birth year of 1826 or 1827. However, Alan McGowan has sent me a copy of a birth record giving date of birth as 24-04-1825. McGowan also sent me his death record, which does give age 49, but this could be in error. By the way, both records have the spelling 'Fraser' though he also used the spelling 'Frazer', at least for a period. |
