| Only partial results available. This was a 12-player single-round all-play-all tournament. The report in the Field of 12 Jun. 1875 says it 'has just been completed', so I will guess that it finished in early June 1875. The reports in the Field, the Chess Players' Chronicle and the Westminster Papers give the scores of the top three, and although they do not say what odds were given, they say that Francis was in Class 1 and Walker and Field were in Class 3, so I assume the usual odds scale of Pawn and Move for one class difference, and Pawn and Two Moves for two classes difference. |
