Field' of Halifax, while the Illustrated London News of 6 June 1874 (p.547) and the Leeds Mercury of 13 May 1872 (p.3) give 'T.W. Field' of Halifax. I presume one is a transcription error and guess that 'J.W. Field' is correct, though initial 'T' might be correct, or two different players might be referenced. |
