| Hilbert has 'W.P. McBean'. Most official records have 'Macbean', but his baptism record has 'McBean'. Official records (sent by Alan McGowan) have death at age 48 in April, May, or June 1924, and birth 'about 1876'. The Falkirk Herald of 2 July 1924 says he died 'towards the end of May'. His baptism record says he was baptised 27 Aug. 1876, so he was likely born earlier that month. |
