Name: Whiteman, James G.
Born:
Died:

Notes:
Brennen gives 'James Whitman' in a game against Jellett in Philadelphia in 1864. I am guessing that this is James G. Whiteman. This may also be the 'Whitman' given by van Winsen on p.23 of his James Mason in America. The Era of 31 Jul. 1870 (p.7) has 'T.G. Whiteman'.
